Hey, I'd like to welcome you to our new video series I've entitled Talk Nerdy to Me.

and to be honest, it's usually ice cream near me.

And you see that little panel show up, and there's three businesses on there, and there's the little pins on the map.

How did that happen?

Why is your business not there?

Well, that's Google's version of what we used to call the Yellow Pages. OK. Boomer!

It's called Google My Business.

The great thing about it is, it's free marketing from Google.

Many businesses do not know that their business is listed, and they don't know how to optimize their page

or manage their page, and you're neglecting your free marketing.

So, my nerdy tip for the day is claim your Google My Business, optimize your Google My Business, and let people find you on those maps

when they're searching for a service near me.
