What About HubSpot's Onboarding Fee?
HubSpot charges a required one-time onboarding fee on Professional and Enterprise purchases. According to HubSpot's pricing pages, that's $1,500 for Sales Hub Professional, $3,000 for Marketing Hub Professional, and $7,000 for Marketing Hub Enterprise.
That fee applies when HubSpot delivers your onboarding. When a certified Solutions Partner like Analytics That Profit handles your onboarding, HubSpot doesn't charge that fee. Instead, you pay us for onboarding and get a partner to do the setup work, rather than coaching your team through it.
The key is timing. Talk to us before you sign your HubSpot contract, so the purchase is set up for partner-led onboarding.

HubSpot Onboarding Services
New HubSpot portal setup
Starting fresh? We set up users, permissions, security, tracking, pipelines, lifecycle stages, forms and workflows so your portal matches how you sell on day one.
Portal rescue and re-onboarding
Already on HubSpot but nobody uses it? We audit what's there, rank what's broken or unused, clean the data and rebuild around your current process. This is common with portals set up years ago by someone who has since left.
CRM migration
We move your contacts, companies, deals, notes, and history from your old system, map them to the right HubSpot objects and properties, and check that nothing was lost.
Sales Hub, Marketing Hub and Service Hub onboarding
We onboard one Hub or several, scoped to the Hubs you bought and the teams who will use them.
Training and adoption
Short, role-specific training videos and written SOPs, housed in your portal, so new hires get the same onboarding your team got.
What Results Can You Expect?
Because training starts with an account audit, we measure results against the specific gaps we find, not general "platform adoption."
Depending on what we uncover, that can mean more of your team using workflows, faster ticket response times in Service Hub, or better email performance and lead conversion in Marketing Hub. We track outcomes with custom HubSpot reports, so you see before-and-after numbers tied to the gaps your training fixed.
Every engagement ends with your team able to do the work without us. That's the point.
How HubSpot Onboarding Works
1. Discovery and portal audit
We map your sales process, lifecycle stages, data sources, and reports, and if you already have a portal, we review it.
2. Data audit and migration plan
We inventory what's moving, what's being cleaned up, and what's being left behind, and map old fields to HubSpot properties.
3. Technical setup
Users and permissions, security (2FA/SSO), tracking code, email sending domain, GDPR settings, integrations, and Google Analytics and Search Console connections.
4. CRM build
Deal pipelines and stages, custom properties, lifecycle stages, ownership rules, and the marketing-to-sales handoff.
5. Data migration and validation
We import, deduplicate, and associate records, then spot-check counts and relationships against the source system before go-live.
6. Automation and sales tools
Workflows, email templates, sequences, tasks, and meeting links your team will actually use.
7. Reporting and dashboards
Dashboards built around calls, booked appointments, qualified leads, and closed revenue.
8. Training and handoff
Role-based training in your live portal, recorded videos and SOPs, plus a follow-up review of adoption and data quality.
HubSpot CRM Migration
A migration is more than an import. If your old data was messy, an import just moves the mess.
What we migrate
- Contacts and companies, with their associations
- Deals and pipelines, including stages and amounts
- Notes, tasks and activity history (where the source system allows export)
- Custom fields, mapped to HubSpot custom properties
- Owners and teams
- Lists and segments
- Email templates and documents
How we keep the data clean
- Audit first: we decide what's worth moving and what should be archived.
- Deduplicate: we merge duplicate contacts and companies before import, not after.
- Map carefully: old fields go to the right HubSpot properties, with consistent dropdown values.
- Validate: we compare record counts and spot-check associations before your team starts working in HubSpot.
- Rebuild automation: workflows and automations from your old system are rebuilt in HubSpot, not just copied.
Moving to HubSpot From Another System
Pipedrive, Zoho, and other CRMs to HubSpot
We export, clean, and map your data and pipelines, then rebuild the automations your team relies on.
Spreadsheets to HubSpot
Deals tracked in Excel or Google Sheets? We structure the data, set up properties and pipelines, and import it so your team can stop maintaining spreadsheets.
Another marketing platform to HubSpot
We move contacts, lists, and email templates from tools like Mailchimp or Constant Contact, and set up subscription types so you stay compliant.

Why Work With a Local HubSpot Partner?
We love HubSpot Academy, but it teaches the platform in the abstract. As a HubSpot partner serving Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, we set up and train inside your live portal, using your data and your process. And because we're local, support continues after go-live: follow-up questions, portal check-ins, and adjustments as your process changes.
You work directly with Phil Wiseman. He holds HubSpot certifications in Objectives-Based Onboarding and in Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, and CMS Hub Implementation.

HubSpot Onboarding & Migration FAQs
Yes, for most Professional and Enterprise purchases. HubSpot charges a required one-time onboarding fee when HubSpot delivers onboarding. When a certified Solutions Partner handles onboarding instead, HubSpot's fee doesn't apply, and you pay the partner for onboarding.
HubSpot's own onboarding fee is $1,500 for Sales Hub Professional, $3,000 for Marketing Hub Professional, and $7,000 for Marketing Hub Enterprise, per HubSpot's pricing pages. Partner onboarding is priced by scope: which Hubs, how much data, and how many users.
These prices are subject to change. Click https://www.hubspot.com/pricing/service for the most recent.
4 -6 weeks is typical. Timing depends on the number of Hubs, how much data you're migrating, and how quickly your team can review and approve the setup.
Not if the migration is planned. We audit and map your data first, deduplicate before import, and compare record counts and associations against your old system before your team switches over.
That's common. We start with a portal audit, fix the setup, clean the data, and train your team. Many of our HubSpot clients come to us after the original onboarding didn't stick.
No. We're based in Independence, KY, and work with teams across the United States. Most onboarding, migration and training happens over screen share and recorded videos.
